Rooster Bread

 

  • 2kg brown or white bread flour

  • 10g instant yeast

  • 15ml sugar

  • 15ml salt

  • 1 litre lukewarm water

 

  1.  

  2. Mix all the dry ingredients and the water and knead to form a soft dough.

  3. Cover and leave to rise for about 1 hour to double in volume, then knead again.

  4. Roll the dough into a long roll about 2 inches in diameter. Cut into 2 inch slices.

  5. Flatten these slightly and shape into squares. Grill over slow coals. Delicious
